This year’s Christmas Charity Drive, sponsored by Mamba Strike Force, will take to the streets of Edenvale on November 28.

This year is the 20th annual Christmas Charity Drive.

The event features a Mamba parades between the schools in the area to collects donations for a number of beneficiaries.

Since the start of the initiative, it has grown tremendously and today consists of over 100 cars, reaching more than 40 schools and including over 150 Mamba employees and community volunteers.

The beneficiaries include over 300 mentally disabled children at Little Eden, the various hospice and care centres in Edenvale and furry friends at the SPCA.

Through the Christmas Drive, the community, with Mamba, is able to raise over R100 000 annually for beneficiaries.

Red Bins are placed at the participating schools and businesses around the area.

These bins are then filled with donations from the community.

This year, the school which fills the most red bins will not only be given a R10 000 bursary, but will also be a given an additional R10 000 to donate to the charity of their choice.
