Jeppe SAPS officers were patrolling Bez Valley on Friday, November 28, when they came across a silver VW Polo with four men inside.
The suspicious vehicle was spotted at the corner of 8th Avenue and 10th Street.
The officers stopped the car and searched it. They found an LCD television set, Hi-Fi system, computer and a sewing machine in the vehicle. The officers suspect the items were stolen.
Warrant Officer Richard Munyayi said they also found crowbars, screwdrivers, a remote control, a pick and a hammer, all suspected to be house breaking implements.The police circulated the car’s number plate and discovered it was reported as stolen in Valleria, Pretoria, in October.
The suspects, aged between 23 and 26, were arrested and detained at the Jeppe SAPS.
They will appear in court soon and investigations are continuing.
