Family mourns loss

A well-known quadriplegic and Greenstone resident, Mr Bruce Nielsen, died on Saturday, February 28.

Mr Nielsen, who would have celebrated his 57th birthday on Monday, March 4, died at his home while with his partner, Ms Ina Knowles.

Ms Knowles said her partner was bigger than life.

“Words are not enough to describe the man he was. His energy towards life was amazing,” she said.

Ms Knowles, the rest of Mr Nielsen’s family, his ex-wife Sally, his sons Peter and John, his sister Ingird and friends from all walks of his life, mourn the loss.

Mr Nielsen will be buried on March 5, after the funeral service which will take place at the Bedfordview Methodist Church.
