Burning objects block off roads

Foreigners seek refuge for the second consecutive night.

Foreign nationals have taken refuge at Cleveland Police Station for a second night as the violence continues.

“Scores of people are actually inside the police station.

“Jules Street and Main Reef Road have been closed off with burning objects,” said Constable Mpho Mashakane from Cleveland Saps.

Shops were again vandalised.

No incidents have been reported in Yeoville Saps precinct.
