Assumption Convent School’s first netball team participated in the Inter-Catholic Netball Festival on May 16 and emerged as the overall winner.
The festival was held at Brescia House.
The event was well-supported, with 18 schools competing on the day.
In the preliminary round, Assumption Convent played against Holy Rosary School, De la Salle College, Holy Family, St Thomas Aquina and St Ursula’s.
After the group stages, Assumption was pitted against the winners of the other two groups, Brescia and St Dominic’s.
Assumption Convent beat both teams, maintaining its unbeaten streak during the festival, and securing overall victory for the team.
