Edenvale recently hosted 1st Scouts Kontiki.
The event started on Friday afternoon, as rafts were built for the event and camps were set up.
Over 50 rafts and 5 000 Scouts and Cubs participated in and supported the event.
The Saturday morning saw the completed rafts being let onto the water.
Land teams had already set up challenges for the Cubs to participate in.
The Kontiki included the boys and girls who stayed on the rafts overnight, while land teams took part in a cook-off.
“After all was said and done, the 1st Edenvale boys and girls came within the top 15 for overall performance,” said Mr Tylor Grover.
