Jeppe pupils win first prize

Earlier this year, Jeppe High School for Girls pupils participated in the Vega Vibe competition held on Human Rights Day.

The competition required selecting any human right and designing a campaign focusing on the chosen topic.

The pupils took home the award, winning first place in the competition, as adjudicators were impressed with their final campaign in a simple and clear message.

Participants from the school included Emanuela Pereira, Shona Boyle, Izaria Hassim, Palesa Mofokeng (Vega), Angelique Pereira, Carynh Marx and Leila Leaf. The girls all received certificates, medals, gift vouchers and a floating trophy.
