Catholic Women’s League members visited St Anne’s residents for their annual Christmas in July.
The event took place on July 23.
The tea party was to celebrate women and to provide them with a morning filled with entertainment, treats and gifts for all the ladies from the home.
Ms Audrey Henry, the chairperson of the committee, expressed her gratitude towards the women who have supported the league for so many years.
“We decided to host a Christmas in July because it gives the women an opportunity for a tea party during the year. The tea party is put together by all the branches of the region,” said Ms Henry.
Among the attendees was Ms Sharon Lendrum-Fritelli, from the Friends of Horwood’s Farm.
“It is such a blessed occasion. I am from St Teresa and we admire the women for what they are doing,” she said.
The celebration also included honoring Ms Isabelle Whelan with a badge for being a member of the women’s league for 50 years.
