Bennies hosts Highland Gathering

The St Benedict’s Pipe Band hosted a Highland Gathering on July 11.

The St Benedict’s Juvenile Band won its section at the event as well as the regional champions title.

The Novice Juvenile Band placed second in the bass section, second in the drum corps, second in the march set and second in the MSR section.

The band was second overall in this section.

The Juvenile Band placed first in the bass section, first in the drum corps, first in the medley section and first in the MSR section, taking the overall first place in this section.

Over and above these results, the St Benedict’s Pipe Band was also announced as the regional champion in the novice drum corps, juvenile drum corps and juvenile band section.
