A school bus, transporting seven children from schools in the area, overturned in Bertrams this afternoon.

The bus overturned at the corner of Albertina Sisulu and Bertrams roads.

According to Emergency Services three of the children sustained minor injuries. Four children were injured but not critical.

The children and the driver were transported to the Charlotte Maxeke Hospital.

The cause of the accident is being investigated.
