NEWS backs Flying the Flag
The NEWS is the media partner for Fortune Kunene who, it was revealed at the barrier draw, will be publically represented by the beautiful Hayley Owen, while their affiliated horse is “Flying The Flag”.

The Bedfordview and Edenvale News is once again one of the media partners for one of Gauteng’s most popular horse racing events of the year, the Peermont Emperors Palace Charity Mile.
This year’s event will take place at Turffontein Racecourse on Saturday afternoon, October 31.
In the build up to the big day some of those involved with the event attended the barrier draw for the race at Emperors Palace on Wednesday afternoon, October 21 including four of the celebrities who will be giving of their time on the day for this worthy cause, actor, Justin Strydom, SuperSport anchorman, Neil Andrews, award-winning sports presenter, Carol Tshabalala and DJ Alex Caige.
The three are pictured here with Tebogo Ketsekele and Neil Tsotetse, representatives of Fortune Kunene Primary School After Care Centre of Vosloorus, one of the beneficiaries of the race.
