Top three finish for local speaker
It was a highly contested competition and Ms Nxumalo walked away with third place.
Ms Sisi Nxumalo, a member of the Modderfontein Breakfast Club, represented Division I in the Table Topics contest on October 2 at the International Convention Centre in East London.
It was a highly contested competition and Ms Nxumalo walked away with third place out of 10 other contestants from across Southern Africa.
The humorous and table topics contest begins in every club within the Southern Africa region.
In order to reach the district finals, Ms Nxumalo needed to win three different levels of the competition.
Modderfontein meets on the second and fourth Saturday at The Dros Restaurant in the Eden Meadows Shopping Centre at 8.30am.
