Advocate George Bizos, a founder of Saheti School and the Life Vice-President of the Saheti Board, was honoured at a recent school assembly.
After having received two awards of recognition in the past two months, he recently received the Freedom of the City of London. Prior to that, he received a service award from the Gauteng Department of Social Development.
The trophy for the latter, which was initially donated by the Federation of Hellenic Communities and Societies of South Africa, depicts Advocate Bizos and former President Nelson Mandela and has found its home at Saheti.
