Partnership formed to help save lives

The next blood drive will take place in April.

Bedford Centre has vowed to raise awareness as far as blood donation is concerned.

The centre announced that every second month, blood drives will be set up at the Pick n Pay court.

According to the spokesperson, Ms Nikki Savides, the initiative also aims to raise awareness for the South African National Blood Service (SANBS).

She called on members of the public to participate in the initiative.

“Join Bedford and the SANBS to help those in need and make a difference. Your blood really goes a long way. Every 35 seconds a patient receives blood in South Africa. Be the change and help to save someone’s life,” said Ms Savides.

The next blood drive will take place in April.
