“An 11-year-old boy killed a 14-year-old boy during a street fight in Malvern on Saturday,” said Cleveland SAPS spokesperson, Constable Mpho Mashakane.
She said the boys were playing next to Berlin and Station streets.
“The boys were playing when a fight broke out between the two. The 11-year- old hit the other one with a steel rod on the head. The boy was taken to the local fire station where he was certified dead,” Const Mashakane said.
She said the 11-year-old boy was released in the care of his parents.
