Various community organisations and businesses are gearing up to celebrate Mandela Day on July 18.
The NEWS would like to encourage all businesses hosting events to send pictures and a short write-up of activities following their events to benews@caxton.co.za
Should more than one picture be attached to the e-mail, we ask that photographs be sent separately.
Community organisations, however, are asked to send details of their events to benews@caxton.co.za before July 15.
While we cannot guarantee that a NEWS journalist will be present at the event, we would like to consider all events for publicity on the day.
The NEWS also asks that all organisations also take their own pictures as a back up to send to the newspaper.
Please note that publication of any event is not guaranteed and will solely depend on the space available in the edition following Mandela Day.
