Residents report concerns at voting stations

According to reports from Malvern, many voters have waited since this morning to vote.

Residents have reported concerns at several voting stations across the Bedfordview, Edenvale and Joburg East areas.

Many residents in Greenstone waited well over an hour to make their mark before additional scanners arrived at voting stations.

Malvern residents in the Joburg East area also reported waiting hours to vote due to a lack of scanners in the area.

According to reports from Malvern, many voters have waited since this morning to vote.

It is believed additional scanners have been delivered to affected areas.

Although long queues, no reports of problems at Tembisa voting stations have been received.
