The first ward results in the Edenvale and Bedfordview areas are in with the Democratic Alliance and Heather Hart taking ward 18.
The results for ward 18 shows 89,93 percent for the DA followed by the ANC with 7,42 percent and the EFF with 1,54 percent.
Voting at ward 18’s various voting stations were as follows:
- AGS Church Edenvale – DA received 87,7 percent.
- Edenglen Primary School – DA received 94,29 percent.
- Edenvale Community Centre – 80,46 percent.
- Trinity Presbyterian Church – 93,12 percent.
