Edenvale resident receives national colours for pole dancing.

Edenvale resident, Ms Heidi Mehring, was awarded her national colours at the South African Pole Dance Fitness Association’s regional and national competition held on August 20 and 21 in Randburg.

The competition was hosted by the South African Pole Dance Fitness Association.

Being awarded with national federation colours is the highest achievement you can get in pole dancing in South Africa.

“Singing our national anthem and competing for South African ‘green and gold’ was very emotional and a day I shall never forget. Pole dancing has come incredibly far and it is something you have to be totally passionate about to achieve any measure of success in,” said Ms Mehring.
