St Benedict’s College wins big at gala

St Benedict’s College proved once more that they have the strength, skill and talent to out-swim the competition by winning the Inter High Relay Gala.

Over the course of the year, the team has been working hard on their individual as well as relay team techniques.

This has included holiday and winter training.

The school arrived at the competition as the slight underdogs, having never won the title before. All the boys all swam with one goal in mind and convincingly took the top spot.

Every age group had various victories, but stand out performances came from the grade 8 and 9 groups who won every event.

St Benedict’s prides itself on having the top swimming facilities, coaches and programmes in place.
