Missing woman’s car found in Eastleigh Spruit

Woman missing since November 9 floods

A search has been launched for a 34-year-old woman, following Wednesday’s heavy rains and subsequent floods.

Floods – Ekurhuleni Metro on high alert

A car was pulled from the Eastleigh Spruit this afternoon and the vehicle has since been identified by the missing woman’s family members.

Family members were on the scene when the vehicle was pulled from the spruit this afternoon on Sixth Avenue in Edenvale.

Helicopters have been flying over the spruit every day since the floods, searching the area. Search operations will continue tomorrow.
