Residents step up to help clean Horwood’s Farm

The 14 community members cleared weeds, cleared pavements and scraped some of the older paint off the market stalls.

Community members took time out of their weekends to clean-up Horwood’s Farm on February 11.

The 14 community members cleared weeds, pavements and scraped some of the older paint off the market stalls.

The group was mainly made up of members from Friends of Horwood’s Farm.

The attention which Horwood’s Farm is receiving stems largely from the community’s and Clr Heather Hart’s hope to see the park becoming a better place.

Ms Margy Pedder said she hopes the Poster Buster’s initiative also receives greater support from the community.

Like Friends of Horwood’s Farm, Poster Busters relies on the community’s support to rid Edenvale of illegal signage.

“Community members must take action and get involved,” said Ms Pedder.
