ABC celebrates love

The club meets every month at the Mercure Hotel.

Bedfordview’s Anneliese’s Breakfast Club kick-started 2017 with a celebration of love.

The club celebrated Valentine’s Day during its first meeting of the year.

Founder Mrs Anneliese Plettenbacher welcomed the women to the New Year.

Club secretary Ms Aniki Schelin read out a love poem and handed hug certificates to the women as a reminder of how loved they are.

The club meets on a monthly basis to network and raise money for their elected charity organisations in the area.

Benefiting structures include the Edenvale Hospital’s paediatric ward.

Raffle tickets are sold during the meetings to ensure that money is raised in every meeting.

Knitted clothing is also donated by members for the club to distribute to various charities.

This month’s speaker was artist and events coordinator Ms Loretta Morris-Chamberlain of Yukon House, a landmark heritage house in neighbouring Bez Valley.

The club meets every month at the Mercure Hotel along Bradford Road.

Meetings are scheduled at 9.30am for 10am.
