In commemoration of Sir Robert Baden-Powell’s birthday, scouts from around the world gathered for celebrations.
Bedfordview was no exception.
Scouts, Cubs, Cubettes and Guides came together on Sunday for a parade and swimming gala in honour of Sir Baden-Powell, also known as BP.
Scouters also participated in the activities.
The parade started from the Bedfordview Country Club (BCC) and proceeded to the Bedfordview Primary School.
Over 150 troops from the Eland District participated in the activities.
The parade takes place annually and also draws support from interested members of the community.
