Bright future for Saheti’s young actors

The competition will be held at the Joburg Fringe Theatre in May.

The winner of the most promising actor award, Jordyn Beiling, and recipient of the best actress award, Natalie Kyriacou, were a part of the winning house plays, Mommy, I Love You ensemble at Saheti School’s annual interhouse play festival held recently.

Learners from Grades Eight to 11 wrote their own scripts, built their own sets and designed their own posters.

The winning play, written and directed by Alexander Dale and Mirella Guiducci, together with the runner- up production, A Death in the Family, written and directed by Gerry Reynders and Gabriel Apollonatos, will represent Saheti School at this year’s inter-schools competition, FEDA.
