Schimmel to introduce her latest novel at Modderfontein Coffee Morning
Besides being an author, Schimmel is also a mother and businesswoman.
Local author Gail Schimmel will attend the Friends of Modderfontein Library Coffee Morning to introduce her latest novel.
The book, The Park, will be spoken about on May 5.
The Johannesburg resident tries to spend as much time writing as she can.
Besides being an author, Schimmel is also a mother and businesswoman.
In a recent conversation with author, Pamela Power, Shimmel described The Park as “only a tiny bit thrilling”.
Power disagreed with Schimmel and said the book was a fine example of domestic suspense.
After Schimmel’s talk, her books will be available to buy.
The coffee morning is set to take place at the Thornhill Estate community centre on Queen Street, Modderfontein, at 9.30am.
Refreshments will be served before the talk and the cost for attendance is R20 per person.
All are welcome to attend the event.
