Hockey players make Jeppe proud

The learners will be playing for their respective teams during the July school holidays.

Thirty-seven learners from Jeppe High School for Boys were recently selected to be members of Gauteng hockey teams.

The learners will be playing for their respective teams during the July school holidays.

The Jeppe hockey players selected to play for the under-14 Gauteng team were: Caden Sanders, Hayden Bartlett, Jaydon Lincoln and Ross Breytenbach.

The players chosen to represent the Southern Gauteng teams as well as the teams which they will be part of are as follows:

  •  Eddie Ramohlale, Keegan Smith, Jesse Martin, Tlhalefang Pharasi and Callum Birkenfield have been selected for the u-18A team.
  •  Athenkosi Lisa, Jordan Ramos, Sibu Madlala and Justin Smith were selected for the Southern Gauteng u-18B team.
  • Dillan Kirkland, Duncan Grose and Jordan Johnson were chosen to play in the u-17B team.
  •  Nathan Grose, Rowan Wales, Connor Cottam, Ryan Mann and Akanyang Nkabinde will play in the u-16A team.
  •  Chad Oosthuizen and Tevin Thomson were selected for the u-16B team.
  •  Callum Smith was chosen to be in the u-16C team.
  •  Marco Gentle, Nahum Grottis and Tshifhiwa Ramashiya will represent Jeppe in the u-16D team.
  •  Cael Murray, Jarred Alblas, Caleb Arries and Alex De Sousa were selected to play in the u-14A team.
  •  Keaton Stansfeld, Zack Pearson and Samuel Grottis will play in the u-14B team.
  •  Joshua Hutcheon was chosen for the u-14C team.
  •  James Kamerman and Kartik Gusain were chosen to play for the u-14D team.
