Edenvale resident receives top tutor award

The awards were instituted to celebrate and recognize the hard-working people that make Peermont CSI community projects a success.

Edenvale resident and Star Schools Tembisa educator, Rowan Hill received a Star Schools Top Maths Tutor award at the third annual Peermont CSI Awards at Emperors Palace on August 25.

Rowan received the award from PCT trustee Amanda Fischer and trust chairperson, Tshidi Madima.

The awards were instituted to celebrate and recognize the hard-working people that make Peermont CSI community projects a success.

The Star Schools programme is one of the projects the Peermont Children’s Trust, a CSI initiative of Emperors Palace, is involved with sponsoring over 260 learners annually at three sites to attend extra lessons in Mathematics, English and Physical Science.
