The 57-year-old Bryanston resident who was shot four times in Bedfordview yesterday has undergone surgery at Union Hospital.
He was in a stable condition at the time.
Arrests relating to the shooting have yet to be made.
Yesterday the Bedfordview SAPS confirmed a man (57) was shot four times in the parking area of KFC Bedfordview near Bedford Centre earlier this morning. The reason for the shooting is unknown.
A total of eight shots were fired by an unknown number of suspects.
