Jeppe learners make recycling fashionable

The girls worked in groups of four and produced fantastic designs.

Jeppe High School for Girls’ Grade Eight arts and culture learners were given the task of designing and manufacturing couture outfits out of recyclable materials.

Seen here are some of the top 11 designers: Ofentse Dhlamini, Kristin Thompson, Jenelle Moses, Amanda Mzana and Kiara Johnston.

The girls worked in groups of four and produced fantastic designs.

Their work showed great attention to detail.

One girl in each group had the opportunity to model their creation for the Grade Eight learners and class teachers.

The top 11 designs were then modelled for the entire school.
