Malvern Got Talent takes to the stage
MALVERN – We urge the community to participate next year
The Malvern Got Talent show was held on October 7 at the Methodist Church Malvern.
The organiser of the event, Mxolisi Phindani, said the show gave youngsters of Malvern and surrounds the opportunity to showcase their talents on stage.
He hopes the show will become an annual event.
The theme of this year’s show was “Embracing Our Culture”.
“The event brought the youth together. I realised that most youngsters perform at taverns. It is not good for youngsters to perform at these venues. They needed a space to show their talents, hence the Malvern Got Talent show,” he said.
“We urge the community to take part in the future of the youth and we plead with local residents and businesses to support the event next year,” he said.
