Hospice creates awareness

Hospice East Rand hosted an awareness campaign for World Hospice and Palliative Care Day on October 13.

Pamphlets containing information about Hospice and palliative care were distributed to community members at Bedford Centre.

World Hospice and Palliative Care Day, celebrated on October 14, aims at generating awareness about the services Hospice offer to the community.

Hospice East Rand provides care for community members in the Bedfordview, Edenvale and other East Rand areas.

There are 10 charity shops in its district which help raise funds for the organisation.
