‘Toys for Joy’ needs more handcrafted presents
The donated toys will then be distributed to sick and under-privileged children in time for Christmas.
The Edenvale Lioness Club is now accepting entries for its annual Toy for Joy competition.
Residents who are skilled with their hands are invited to make a toy and enter the competition.
Toys can be made from any type of material but must be handmade and donated to the club.
The donated toys will then be distributed to sick and under-privileged children in time for Christmas.
Residents can enter as many toys as they wish but must attach their name, address and telephone number to each toy.
The competition closes on November 15 and judging will take place on November 30.
