Victoria competes at IDO World Tap Dance Championships

About 6 000 dancers from 17 countries competed.

Victoria Lavarinhas, a Grade 11 learner at St Andrew’s School for Girls, competed in the International Dance Organisation (IDO) World Tap Dance Championship finals 2017 in Reisa, Germany at the end of last year.

About 6 000 dancers from 17 countries competed.

Victoria placed 22nd in the adult duet, 18th in the adult trio, 17th in the adult groups and 16th in the adult formation events.

Victoria also completed her silver two exam and obtained 96 per cent. She was awarded honours with distinction.
