Gift of the Givers Foundation welcomes water donations from Bedfordview community
The Gift of the Givers Foundation has thanked members of the community for donating bottles of water towards the drought crisis currently affecting the Western Cape.

Farouk Jogiat, one of the coordinators of this project, said they received positive feedback after an article requesting help from the community was published by the NEWS in November 2017.

“We are grateful to the Bedfordview community for the support they have shown.
”We managed to fill four big trucks with the bottled water that we collected.
“The water has been delivered and we will start to collect again from the beginning of March as the drought is still a big problem in that region,” said Farouk.
