Assumption Convent School marketing manager Marinella Sousa said Jade McIver and Amy Weinerlein have been selected to represent the school on the council.

“The Johannesburg Junior Council has been running for 90 years and consists of two representatives from 40 schools around Johannesburg.

“Amy Weinerlein was voted in by these councillors as co-mayor of the council together with Callum Beukes from King Edward VII School. It was a lovely evening as the outgoing council handed over to the incoming council,” said Sousa.
