Edenvale Round Table inducts new chairman

Shaun Senekal was recently elected as the Edenvale Round Table’s new chairperson.

The 32-year old hopes to lead the club to new heights and make a significant difference to the Edenvale and surrounding community.
Some of Shaun’s plans for the club this year include engaging with the businesses and individuals of Edenvale.
He hopes to achieve this by hosting fund-raising initiatives.
“Last year, through our Winter Knights project, we raised over R15 000 worth of non-perishable food items and over R5 000 worth of blankets and clothing items,” said Shaun.
The food, blankets and clothing were distributed among the homeless on the streets of Edenvale.
“The Round Table hopes to draw families together and develop friendships,” said Shaun.
In addition to assisting the community, the Round Table is looking forward to growing its membership.
“The main focus this year is to draw new members in order to achieve our goals.”
