Since last week’s article, A green future for Oriel Park, was published by the NEWS, Ward 20 Clr Jill Humphreys had spoken about her hopes for Oriel Park in the midst of development in Oriel Park, Bedfordview.

After all her concerns, contractors have arrived back in the park.
“Just when we thought our park was reinstated, the contractors returned to continue with work,” said Humphreys.
The NEWS previously reported that she expressed concern about the concrete bricks in the servitude buckling.
Humphreys then said that she believes the buckled servitude may affect water flow and contribute to flooding.

Humphreys said she is happy to see landscaping contractors working with the community to move rocks and plant wildflowers in Oriel Park.
