Greenstone’s Kaylan to host fund-raiser for Mrs SA charity
The finalists have been on a life changing journey over the past few months.
Greenstone resident Kaylan Bartlett is in the top 25 of the Tammy Taylor Mrs South Africa 2018 pageant.

Kaylan is a mineral resource geologist and is currently doing her second master’s degree at the University of Witwatersrand (Wits) in mining engineering.
She was selected as one of the top 100 semi-finalists in February and chosen as a top 25 finalist at a gala event in June.
The finalists have been on a life-changing journey over the past few months.

They attended courses, photo shoots, a weekend in Paarl and filmed adverts for sponsors.
“The journey thus far has just been spectacular and one of the most empowering I have ever been on.
“Life is such a precious gift and through this journey, I have had the opportunity to be ever so grateful for every chance afforded to me.
“I am excited to be involved in the community around me and have been given the opportunity to make a difference,” said Kaylan.
All the finalists have been tasked to host a fund-raising event for the pageant’s official charity, Women4Women, a non-profit organisation.
Kaylan will host an event at Jeppe High School for Girls on September 23 at 1.30pm.
The High Tea for Hope will include live entertainment, guest speakers, a fashion show, dance exhibition, stalls, welcome drinks and more.
The winner of Mrs South Africa 2018 will be crowned at Emperors Palace on November 9.
