Nine members of Dowerglen High School’s Dowerglen Panthers Drum Majorettes recently received their Protea colours.
The colours were presented to Retha Setsubi, Toni Moabelo, Coreen Coertse, Tammy Stafford, Megan Stafford, Boiketlo Motheelane, Gemma Crouwcamp and Cassidy Bunn after they competed in the Majorette-sport World Championship.

The championship was hosted between September 20 and 23 in Cape Town by the Majorette-sport World Federation.
