Edenvale rugby players go the extra mile

The donation drive is a way for the club to give back to community members in need.

The Edenvale Panthers have called upon of community members for assistance for the less fortunate.

The rugby club has started collecting donations for Just In Time Baby Sanctuary.

Located in Randfontein, the organisation is a place of safety for abused and abandoned babies from newborn to two years.

The NPO, which opened in 2016, has assisted over 30 children.

Gideon de Bruyn, a coach of the club, said the donation drive is a way for the club to give back to community members in need.

Items which the organisation is in need of include baby formula, baby food, groceries for toddlers and nappies.
