#Water supply recovering in Bedfordview and Germiston

It is anticipated that the supply to the high lying areas such as Sunnyridge, Solheim, Sunnyrock and a portion of Bedfordview, will be restored over the course of the day.

The water supply network feeding Germiston and Bedfordview is slowly recovering following a water supply interruption that left parts of these areas with low pressure to no water over from Wednesday night.

This morning, 20 September, Wychwood, Dawnview, Primrose, Marlands, Senderwood, Morninghill, Essexwold, Elandsfontein, Klopperpark and parts of Bedfordview, started receiving full water supply.

It is anticipated that the supply to the high lying areas such as Sunnyridge, Solheim, Sunnyrock and a portion of Bedfordview, will be restored over the course of the day.

The City of Ekurhuleni will continue to provide water to areas with no water through mobile water tankers and Jojo tanks.

Residents are still urged to use water sparingly to allow the water supply network to stabilise.

Ensure that all taps are properly closed at all times.
