Grade 11 Edenglen High School learner Jemma Ibbetson is a qualified cricket scorer after she completed a level D cricket-scoring course.
Jemma’s interest in cricket scoring stemmed from wanting to learn more about the sport.
Spread over three Saturdays, the course included an exam with a pass mark of 80 per cent.
Jemma received 96 per cent for the exam, which made her feel very proud.
She has since decided that she wants to move on to the level C course.
Jemma will continue to score for her school and hopes to further her qualification next year.
