Edenglen Empowers learners

The day saw the learners also celebrate their heritage and wore traditional clothing.

At the end of the third term, Edenglen High School hosted an empowerment day for learners.

The learners also celebrated their heritage by wearing traditional clothing.

Boys and girls were split into two groups. They were given advice by their teachers and peers. In addition, they rendered musical items.

The 2019’s head and deputy head girls, Lesedi Dube and Bridget Ball, advised the girls about loving themselves and self-respect.

They denounced bullying, and offered advice on how the girls ought to deal with difficult issues at school.

Ron Atlas and Emmanuel Mulonza, head and deputy head boys, gave advice to the boys.

The learners took to heart what was said by their peers and teachers.
