Debaters participate in MUN conference

The learners met and engaged with other international students on significant global matters that are current in the United Nations agendas.

Learners of the Saheti School Debating Club recently participated in the Model United Nations (MUN) conference held at Campion School in Athens, Greece.

The event is an academic simulation of the United Nations, where learners play the role of delegates from different countries and attempt to solve real-world issues with the policies and perspectives of their assigned countries.

The learners met and engaged with other international learners on significant global matters that are current in the United Nations agendas, and in the process learnt about diplomacy and the effect of diplomatic resolutions.

Apart from their participation at the conference, the group also visited the Parthenon, the Acropolis Museum, as well as the Goulandris Natural History Museum and GAIA Environmental Research and Education Centre.
