Saheti hosts second Science Fair

The Saheti Science Fair aims to attract science enthusiasts from local schools and thus broadening their scientific horizons.

Saheti School recently hosted its second annual Science Fair, which included participants from King David School and St Andrew’s School for Girls.

Learners had the opportunity to present their projects on scientific investigations to a panel of judges from the Science and Life Science Departments of Saheti, Wits University, King David and St. Andrew’s.

This initiative is aimed at attracting science enthusiasts from local schools, and thus broadening their scientific horizons.

The results were as follows:

First place: “The Internet of Things” by Basil Katakuzinos from Saheti and “Everything You Can’t Read” by Keeran Moodley from Saheti.

Second place: “The Carrot” by Nicolas Christofides and Daniel George from Saheti.

Third place: “Bio-Fueled Water” by Kelcey Devonport from St. Andrew’s and “The Robot” by Zack Kadish from King David.
