Pre-primary learners get new playground
A newly planted soccer pitch will facilitate ball skills practice and team games.
The playground at Saheti Pre-Primary School recently transformed with the addition of new equipment, a redesigned layout and beautiful landscaping.
The cycle track was extended and tarred, with road markings and signage included, while new imaginative play spaces were introduced through a mud kitchen and areas underneath the jungle gyms.

“As the playground is an extension of the classroom learning environment, we wanted to ensure that the new equipment would meet the developmental needs of our children as well as provide opportunities to learn, explore, discover and investigate,” said principal Angela Barclay.
“We believe in children learning through play and our new playground is a reflection of this philosophy. Playtime has taken on new and exciting dimensions through the improvements, which have proven to be a huge hit with the little ones.’’
