Due to Covid, the school had to have Grade Eight learners do some passive volunteering at school.
For the day learners completed several tasks including eco-bricks, jars of hope and sleeping bags made from insulating black backs and newspapers, and making fleece blankets.

Learners had fun and learnt about giving to others.
They also learnt about the many ways in which anyone can give back even from the comfort of their home or school.
Reddam’s motto is “We shall give back” and Grade Eight learners shone the light in devoting their time.
