Edenvale officers take to the streets

Members of Edenvale SAPS took to the streets when they conducted a station commander operation on Hurlyvale Avenue.

Held on March 30, it saw SAPS work together with private security personnel.

Edenvale SAPS communication officer Sgt Jacob Mashile said such operations are held weekly.

“The operation focused on vehicle checkpoints, stop and searches and the saturation of the community with law enforcement,” said Mashile.
