Donations uplift spirits at Thembalami Care Centre

“We gave the letters to six of our residents who are mainly bedridden.”

Rand Aid’s Thembalami Care Centre was recently visited by five representatives from Merieux NutriSciences.

During the visit the representatives donated various items to Thembalami’s occupational therapy department.

In addition to donating craft materials, Merieux NutriSciences also donated baking mixes and other goodies.

The representatives brought cake and biscuits for the residents to enjoy.

Six staff members from the company also wrote letters to the residents.

“We gave the letters to six of our residents who are mainly bedridden, ” said Esme van der Walt, Thembalami’s manager.

“They uplifted their spirits, making them feel very special and loved.”

“Thank you Merieux NutriSciences for the wonderful donations and bringing joy to our residents,” she added.
